Kingfishers

This morning’s photo of a Belted Kingfisher female is on top. It reminded me of the one I, shot in February of this year. Having just caught the fish, he is flipping it to facilitate swallowing. One gulp! This is near the confluence of the Farmington and Connecticut rivers in CT.
