Kingfisher with Fish

Branches of a fallen tree in the river make ideal perches for the Belted Kingfisher. Yesterday afternoon, after hearing the Kingfisher’s rattle nearby, I waited behind a bush hoping that she would land on one of the branches. It took about 20 minutes but she did. The fish was an added bonus.
